About Myself
Curently, I am a senior at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. I am majoring in library science and have interests in anthropology, history, and philosophy. I am trying to bring these disciplines together into this website with the hopes that it may be useful to others.
History My Project
This project was created to compare the folklore of Eastern Asia and West Coast North America. This was done to try to show a connection between these two groups of people. Hopefully, in the future, this site will grow to include more groups of people and have a larger list of animals.
My Reason
The reason this site was started was to fulfill a requirement for the Honors Program at Clarion University, but it has become so much more. While working on this project, not only has my love for folklore grown, but I keep developing deeper understandings of the cultures I study.
Acknowledgments
I would like to thank my faculty adviser, Dr. Andrea Miller, and the Clarion University Honors Program for their support and for allowing me to do this study.
